I am a HypnoBirthing Practioner. Not only was I practicing my HypnoBirthing techniques from 15 weeks pregnant I was teaching other couples and reinforcing my learning. I had experienced one HypnoBirth with my eldest which was a really gentle and calm experience. I knew what I was in for – or so I thought.
I was in a program which allowed me early discharge from hospital so I didn’t intend to be there for more than six hours after birth. I took one bag with enough to last a night in case I needed to stay. Due to bubs being a high weight we were encouraged to stay overnight to monitor his blood sugar levels (I allowed myself to be persuaded to this for his safety but it turned out to be unnecessary and I wish I had gone home - but that’s another blog).
Bringing a tiny human into the world has made me rethink waste. So buying second hand and selling on means I’m keeping these things out of land fill and am doing one little thing to make their future a little brighter. I love my second nursery as much as the first decoratively but I also get a lot of satisfaction knowing how much I have learned this time round.
